Spring has sprung

March was the busiest month of 2014 so far; and the most fun.  We started out the month celebrating Jeff's 30th Birthday, Woo-hoo!!!  Shannon made him homemade beef stroganoff (his favorite) and a Guinness cake with Irish Cream frosting, mmm, mmm!  Cooper's favorite part was the 30 balloons that our neighbors brought over.

The morning after the big birthday, we were so lucky to have Aunt Brittany fly in and stay with us for 5 days; it was so amazing.  We went to Park City and toured Olympic Park, she joined us for our gym class, and we got some pretty cool crafts completed.  Cooper was pretty smitten with her with her long hair and willingness to play all day long; he sure missed her when she left and kept looking around the house trying to find her.

To finish out our amazing month, the day after Auntie B left, our awesome friends, the Hoffers, flew in from Seattle to stay for an entire week.  Shannon and Sarah have been best friends since first grade and have stayed that way for almost 25 years.  Call it best friend intuition, but they were both pregnant at the same time, and their sweet baby boys are 15 days apart; this made the visit that much better.  We went to music class, gym class, the natural history museum, the zoo and enjoyed the beautiful weather we were blessed with that week.  Us mommies even had a shopping day to ourselves; that was much needed!  It was really hard to let them go home and so wish we lived closer.

Arizona trip

We had such a great February and starting of March and Cooper just continues to grow every day.  He is crawling everywhere and so fast, he seems to get from one end of the house to the other in the blink of an eye; so much for the days of laying our sweet baby down on his play mat and being so excited when he just rolled over!  Cooper is also starting to stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything, he thinks it is pretty cool and we are seeing a walking boy in our very near future; watch our world.

We ended our February with a quick visit from daddy's friend Dane who was here for a convention.  Cooper thought he was pretty cool; especially when he got to play with his awesome phone.

After our quick weekend with Dane, we packed up and took Cooper on his first flight to AZ to visit our friends the Stilgenbauer's and meet their sweet little new addition Henry.  Cooper did so great on the flight; despite having a cold, and even got his wings from the Flight Attendants.  We had so much fun in sunny Arizona relaxing outside, playing at the park and enjoying the company of our awesome friends.

The boys!!! I see many manly camping trips in the future with these four.

Cooper and dad loved sharing popsicles after dinner together.

Henry is so sweet and snugly, always cuddling with his mom or dad.

Cooper loved spending time in Heidi's playroom, there were so many fun things to explore.  His favorite was her Vet Clinic.

By far our favorite thing to do on our trip was playing at the park after dinner.  Cooper loved swinging on the swings and getting pushes from Heidi.

Heidi getting ready to ride her scooter around the park.

Vrrom vroom!!

Fun times in the hammock.  Cooper thought Heidi was just the funniest girl around.

Naked breakfast!!

At the airport, ready to head home.

And home...Cooper is spent!
